Davenant Latin Institute

The Davenant Latin Institute has now publicly launched, the initial response has been very encouraging. So far we have over 40 students enrolled, and we expect that number to grow. This has been particularly exciting in light of the fact that nearly all of the promotion has been online and online “word of mouth.” This confirms one of our core convictions that new media is not a passing fad but instead a very real way to bring people together and share important resources.

The Davenant Latin Institute is a great way to learn Renaissance and Reformation-era Latin, especially theological Latin in 2 years or less. The instruction comes from professional teachers, and it can all be done from your home. It’s a pretty great program, if I can say so as a not-so impartial commentator.

Please check out the Davenant Trust site for more information and spread the word. There’s still room for more!
