A Thanksgiving Day prayer from the old Presbyterian Book of Common Worship (1918):
O Almighty and everlasting God, who hast blessed the labours of the husbandman, and given unto us the fruits of the earth in their season; Grant us grace to use the same to Thy glory, to the relief of those that are needy, and to our own comfort; through Jesus Christ, who is the Living Bread which cometh down from heaven and giveth life unto the world; to whom, with Thee and the Holy Spirit, be all honour and glory, now and for ever. Amen.
